SILVERSTRAND BEACH, Oxnard, CA Silverstrand Beach is the most southern beach community  in the Oxnard beach area.  It can be reached by following Victoria Avenue south beyond the intersection with Channel Islands Blvd. The beach is uncrowded and homes face the ocean south of the Channel Islands harbor entrance. This community is in the County of Ventura, rather than the City of Oxnard. There are oceanfront homes, appropriately on Ocean Blvd, and many homes on the side streets that run perpendicular to the beach.  Lot sizes are generally 35'x75' and homes range from small cottages to tri-level homes. Side streets are not long and offer an easy walk to the beach. Hollywood-by-the-Sea is another section in the Silverstrand area which is set back from the beach and faces the marina main channel.  Some homes offer marina views and others are along the side streets with easy walking distance to the marina, Kiddie Beach and harbor shops.
