The Westport development, built in 2004-2005, was the first of two major expansions to the Mandalay Bay part of the Channel Islands Marina.  The waterfront homes in Westport were built by Larwin  in two phases.  The first phase, Sea Cove, offers three two-story plans ranging from about 2700 to3100 square feet, on 40 wide lots.  Homes in the second phase, Sea Side, also has three two-story plans ranging from 3250 to 3680 square feet, on 50' wide lots. Each property has a boat dock, generally with a shared ramp. There are Mello Roos and Homeowner Association fees for this development.   In addition to the waterfront homes, the Westport project offers gated condos and tandem townhomes.  The development is off of Wooley Road.  Whitesails, a condo development, is the last phase of Westport. This section of the project has retail space, a clubhouse and one-level condos in two buildings.
